Skyflicks were commissioned by a Bristol film production company ‘Framedogs’ to capture stunning aerial footage of the National Forest in the Midlands.
Located in the heart of England, the forest covers up to 200 square miles and is spread across 3 separate counties, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
On location we teamed up with the Framedogs crew to shoot as many locations as possible in order to give the film the variety it needed, from young to mature tree plantations, cycling centres, idyllic walking trails, canals and lakes, and not to forget the National Forest head office.
The shots required the best possible natural lighting, so that meant late evenings and very early mornings!!
The film won’t be out for a few weeks yet, but when it is we’ll be sure to post a link here.
UPDATE: Film now available to view below, aerial footage starts from 01:40 seconds in.
Shout out to Sam Morgan Moore from Framedogs for bringing Skyflicks on board:
Nick Robinson for the fantastic photography
